What's New
4 New paintings on the go!
2006
Having recently visited the Royal Naval Historic Flight hangar at Yeovilton I've got two paintings that have come from that. One I started there - from life - and is of the Sea Fury undergoing preliminary winter maintenance, the another is a the Fury again, but back lit against the open hangar doors. Both are in acrylic. The third is a smaller canvas, in oil, of a T6 Royal Canadian AF Harvard with a small boy as passenger during WWII. My Dad! A real event that happened in New York state.
The final one has not reached the canvas yet, but will be of a B24 Liberator. I have tried out a few sketches and am working on a dramatic angle, probably a cruising altitude, in formation. This has been inspired from the grandson on a Liberator crew member.
