Cold Start

Taking its influence from Monet's Magpie, this is a painting in tribute to my father. This was one of the first flights he took. It was early in WWII and a group of Canadian T6's were in his neck of the woods, northern New York state, looking for a crashed comrade. One of the pilots offered to give my Pa, a young boy at the time, a ride - pretty cool I think.
